Environmental sampling and data collection in aquatic and riverine environments often require use of small vessels, experienced and certified boat captains, and a knowledgeable crew. Small businesses that own and manage their own fleet of vessels provide clients with the advantages of rapid mobilization and scheduling flexibility, which optimizes sample collection.

Environmental Assessment Services maintains a fleet of fully equipped research vessels that can be outfitted with specialized equipment and instrumentation to meet project needs. We offer a large pool of U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captains, experienced deck-hands, divers, scientists, and technicians who have more than 100 years combined experience in a range of inland and coastal water conditions. Our team offers an outstanding record for safely performing on-water support services.

Primary Vessels

EAS maintains four primary vessels in the Columbia River. We also have access to a large pool of additional vessels and watercraft. Our experienced boat operators and field sampling experts are experienced at working under all types of conditions and facing navigational challenges, including submerged land features and fluctuating river levels.
